Red Dot Exhibitions is a collaboration between super cool York art gallery According to McGee, and Starbucks. Greg McGee came to me with According to McGee’s existing look as a platform to launch the project, we harnessed the beautiful minimalism that was already there and created visuals with real impact, whilst still feeling very on-brand.
We had the posters printed large format and mounted in ornate black frames that married well with the art on site.
WHAT THEY SAID:
“The Red Dot Exhibitions, According to McGee’s collaboration with Starbucks, needed an indirect tribute to Starbucks’ (Product) Red campaign whilst maintaining the crisp minimalism initiated by The Beautiful Meme when According to McGee launched. Choir of Vision straddled both worlds effortlessly, indeed the project has been endowed with an extra sense of event: it takes rigour and flair to dovetail such seemingly disparate concerns, and in doing so Choir of Vision have harnessed our objectives more successfully than we could possibly have imagined.” – Greg McGee
